Kokuraya Corporation (Location: 1135-2, Kojima Yanaida-cho, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture; President: Masanori Ishikawa), a manufacturer of work clothes that offers the "KKPOLOIZM" brand to support workers, is holding a "Challenge Inkjet Printer! Let's make original sweatshirts! Winter Special Workshop" will be held from December 1, 2023 (Friday) to January 12, 2024 (Friday) for this winter vacation only.

In this workshop, participants will try their hand at making their own original sweatshirts using the latest eco-friendly digital inkjet printer (digital textile printing). Participants are asked to prepare their favorite photos or images of their own artwork in advance, which will be printed on the sweatshirts. You can take home the completed work on the spot.

About the workshop

In the previous workshop held during the summer vacation, participants were able to learn about upcycling polo shirts in addition to making fully printed T-shirts. We would like more people to be exposed to this new form of printing (with less environmental impact) and to Kokuraya's SDGs project.

The digital inkjet printer (digital textile printing) used in this project is a printer that can significantly reduce the consumption of water and glue for washing compared to conventional silk screen printing. It is the latest machine with less environmental impact.

You will experience printing on 100% cotton sweatshirts (our product number: 2040) and take home the printed sweatshirts.

Please choose the color and size that suits you best from among 13 colors and 8 sizes.

For those who would like to have a print but do not have an image or cannot prepare one, you can choose an image of a product produced in collaboration with Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts or our new character "Happy Hippo Butt" in a size of your choice.
